Konnichiwa…and welcome to the Misawa Officers’ Spouses Club (MOSC) website! If you are new to Misawa, on behalf of the MOSC, I would like to welcome you to Northern Japan!

Our MissionThe purpose of the MOSC is to promote morale and foster interest among our members in educational and charitable activities on base, in the local community, and in the military community at large.

Socially SpeakingFrom small groups to monthly events, we have something for everyone! Our monthly socials are generally held on the third Thursday of the month and are hosted by the MOSC and various base organizations. Unique to our geographic experience here, we are fortunate enough to have 4 socials a year with our Japanese counterparts.

Our special activity groups are only limited by your imagination and desire to get together with others! Currently we have active groups playing Bridge and Bunko, reading novels, dining out in the community, stamping cards and scrapbook pages, being secret pals, and bowling. New groups are always welcome and encouraged!

PhilanthropyThe MOSC gives back to our community and beyond with our time and by way of charitable donations. We have extremely active scholarship and welfare programs. We are able to give away so much due to two main endeavors: our bi-annual Far East Bazaar and the Thrift Shop. We are always in need of new volunteers to help make these programs successful.
