MOSC Continuing Education Scholarship

The MOSC Continuing Education Scholarships will be awarded to non-military spouses and dependents of:
Members of the U.S. Armed Forces to include retired members
Department of Defense Civilian component
Seniors graduating from Edgren or an accredited home school program during the 2011-2012 school year, planning to reside in the local Misawa City area, are eligible.
All applicants must be planning on continuing to reside on Misawa Air Force Base, or in the local areas of and surrounding Misawa City, Japan to be eligible for the MOSC Continuing Education Scholarship.

Applications will also be available at the Base Education Office.

Packages due back to the MOSC Chair, Sara Zumbro, no later than March 31, 2012.

Edgren High School Scholarship

Scholarships are available to high school seniors completing at least one semester at Edgren High School. To be eligible for the academic scholarship students must have a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.0, and be planning to attend a four year college or university full-time beginning in the 2011 fall semester.

The scholarship applications will be available for pick-up from Mr. Zediker's office, Edgren
High School Guidance Counselor, beginning 11 February 2012. Any graduating senior
who attends Edgren High School for at least one semester during the 2011-2012 school
year and maintains a minimum 3.0 GPA will be eligible to apply for an MOSC academic
scholarship.
